Everything on Nonprofit Tools, including search results, ratings, comparisons and eligibility guides, is general information. It isn't legal, financial, tax, accounting, IT security, data protection or procurement advice, and it doesn't take your organisation's circumstances into account. For decisions with real consequences, speak to someone qualified who knows your situation.

Prices and offers change

We research each tool from the vendor's own pricing and nonprofit pages and other public sources, with AI helping to gather and check the information. Every tool page shows when it was last checked, how sure we are and where the details came from. Vendors change prices, plans, features and nonprofit programmes without notice, so what you see here may be out of date or wrong. The price you pay is the vendor's, not ours.

Vendors decide eligibility

Whether your organisation qualifies for a nonprofit discount is decided by the vendor or the verification service it uses (such as TechSoup or Goodstack), under their own rules. Our eligibility guides explain the usual steps but can't guarantee you'll be approved.

Ratings are our opinion

Ratings, rankings, "best fit" results and comparisons are our editorial judgement of how well a tool suits typical nonprofits. Search results are matched with AI and can miss a tool that would suit you. No vendor can pay for a higher ranking.

How we're funded

Nonprofit Tools is free to use. We may earn referral fees from some vendors or take clearly labelled sponsorship; where we do, we say so next to the link, and it never changes a ranking. AI Impact Hub, Because of You and Rehomed are made by the same company that runs this site, and they're labelled "Made by us".

Names, logos and other websites

Product names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners and are shown only to identify each product. Their use doesn't mean the owner endorses Nonprofit Tools or that we're affiliated with them. Links to other websites are for convenience: we don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, products or how they handle your data.

Answers in ChatGPT and other AI assistants

When you use Nonprofit Tools through an AI assistant, the assistant writes the answer using our directory. It can summarise, reorder or get things wrong, so check the tool pages it links to before you rely on an answer.
