What you get

  • Adobe Express Premium for free: up to 50 licences (templates, Adobe Stock, Adobe Fonts, 100 GB storage, 250 generative AI credits a month)
  • Adobe Acrobat Pro at a substantial discount, up to 10 licences, one-year subscriptions (reapply annually)
  • Adobe Creative Cloud (Pro plan) individual one-year memberships at a discount, unlimited licences, administered through TechSoup (reported about 60 per cent off the first year; check the current price)
  • For team-based access: discounted Education Teams plans under Adobe's VIP buying program

Who's eligible

Adobe lists the program on its global nonprofit page; availability and prices vary by country and Creative Cloud is administered by the TechSoup partner in each country. Exact country list not confirmed.

  • Be a registered nonprofit that passes Adobe's validation for each product
  • Request licences for staff only. Beneficiaries, members and donors are not eligible
  • Use an organisation email address

Usually not eligible

  • Beneficiaries, members and donors of the nonprofit
  • Organisations that fail validation or whose type Adobe excludes (Adobe does not publish a full list on the pages read)

How to apply

  1. 1Go to adobe.com/nonprofits and choose the product (Adobe Express, Acrobat or Creative Cloud).
  2. 2For Express and Acrobat, click Apply now, find your organisation and complete Adobe's validation. Validation takes one to three business days.
  3. 3Redeem the offer to your organisation email when approved.
  4. 4For Creative Cloud, register with TechSoup or your national partner (Connecting Up, TechSoup UK, TechSoup Canada and so on) and request the membership there.
  5. 5Repeat the validation for each product, and reapply each year for Acrobat Pro.

Typical approval time: Adobe says validation takes one to three business days.

Have these ready

  • Your organisation's name and registration details (you search for your organisation in the validation form)
  • A valid organisation email address
  • For Creative Cloud: a qualified TechSoup (or national partner) account

Tips

  • You have to qualify separately for each product.
  • The offers are for individual licences. If you need shared team licences, ask about the Education Teams plan under VIP.
  • Adobe's community forum shows some nonprofits (for example addiction recovery organisations) being declined by the validator. Appeal through Adobe or the validation partner if you think you were wrongly refused.
