Free Cloudflare Business-plan protection for at-risk public interest websites (human rights, civil society, journalism and democracy). It is not a general nonprofit discount: you must show you are a vulnerable target.

How to apply
- 1Go to cloudflare.com/galileo and read the criteria.
- 2Either contact one of Cloudflare's partner organisations to sponsor you, or fill in the application form.
- 3Describe the live domain, your mission and status, your public interest work and the threats you face.
- 4A partner organisation reviews applications, so wait for the decision.
- 5If approved, add your domain to Cloudflare and follow the setup steps.

Tips
- Most ordinary charities should use Cloudflare's free plan, which already includes DNS and basic DDoS protection.
- Never change DNS records on a live site without a backup of the old settings.
