Atlassian Social Impact License (formerly Community License)
Atlassian offers eligible nonprofits and social enterprises free Jira, Confluence and Loom for up to 25 users, plus 50 to 75 per cent discounts on other cloud products. The program used to be called the Community License.

- Solution Grants: up to US$50,000 of hands-on technical consulting for larger nonprofits (50+ staff, 12 to 16 awards in the Atlassian financial year ending 30 June 2027)
Who's eligible
Worldwide, subject to Goodstack's country criteria. The Global Access discount applies to organisations registered in low and lower-middle income countries.
- Be a nonprofit or a social enterprise that is non-governmental and non-political and verified by Goodstack against its country criteria
- Deliver public, social or environmental benefit (for example poverty reduction, health, environment, human rights, education, youth)
- Use the products for your organisation's mission

- Governmental and political organisations
- Organisations Goodstack cannot verify as a nonprofit or valid social enterprise
How to apply
- 1Go to atlassian.com/teams/nonprofits and read the eligibility and pricing page.
- 2Click Apply now and choose the Social Impact License.
- 3Verify your organisation through Goodstack.
- 4After approval, create or convert your Atlassian cloud site and apply the license.
- 5Book an 'Ask an Atlassian' session if you want help with setup.

Tips
- Atlassian renamed the Community License the Social Impact License. Older guides call it the Community License.
- If you outgrow 25 users, the discounted pricing applies to additional users rather than free.
- Solution Grants are competitive and limited to larger nonprofits (50+ staff) and are not a general entitlement.
