For DeepL Translator Pro, API Pro and Write Pro, DeepL says submitted texts and documents are not permanently stored and are deleted after translation, and paid plans carry a no-training promise. The free version differs: DeepL states it processes content to train and improve its neural networks for a limited period. Document translation is processed on DeepL's infrastructure in the EEA. Higher tiers add ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II compliance.
