About Elicit+

Elicit searches a database of more than 138 million research papers, summarises them and pulls out key findings so you can see what the evidence says. It is useful for evidence behind funding bids, programme design and policy briefs. The free Basic plan includes unlimited search and summaries; paid plans add systematic review tools. It grew out of a nonprofit research lab.

Pricing: Basic is free with unlimited search across 138 million+ papers and unlimited summaries and chat. Pro is US$49 per month or US$588 per year. Scale is US$169 per month or US$2,028 per year. Enterprise is custom.

Data & privacy+

Elicit reports SOC 2 Type II compliance (achieved in October 2025). Search summaries say enterprise customer data is not used for training and that third-party model providers have zero data retention and no-training terms; what applies to free and lower plans was not confirmed. Elicit's own security pages returned errors, so check its trust centre (trust.elicit.com) before uploading sensitive documents.
