Hugo is Crisp's AI agent. It answers from your knowledge base and uses outside language models (such as OpenAI and Claude). AI usage is drawn from monthly credits included in each plan (Mini roughly 90 automated conversations, Essentials roughly 450).

Data & privacy+

Crisp says its core infrastructure runs in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and it avoids transferring data outside Europe where possible. It operates under GDPR and states it does not use input data to train the model further. Only the context needed for each request is sent to AI providers, and it is not stored in or used to train their models by default. Crisp does not sell user data; a sub-processor list is published.
